What You Least Expect

As a saying goes, "A smooth sea never made a skilled mariner", but who would least expect "a rough sea make a skilled one"? Well, to start this off, I belong to the "least expected" category. Take some time to ponder, because as i does that, my personal experience testify to that quote.

Months have pass since i last posted, situation that arises, has put my walk in life to a temporary halt. My conviction, my goals, my purpose, and my vision has been shaken, all because of the rough sea in life. Financially, work progression, and spiritual advancement are the main factors of it all. I can't help but to question myself during this period of roughness, why is there rough sea, why can't it be smooth, and why is this path made to be so? Well I'm sure some of you here would have asked that question before. One would say "yup", the other would say "oh, i just asked it" and who knows who might say "nope, never before". For this who knows who group i must congratulate you, because either you've not experience rough sea before, or you've grew out & above it. I certainly hope you're the latter. Whichever group you're in, I would like to testify that, a rough sea does make a skilled mariner.

All thanks to God's guidance, because during this period of rough sea, i certainly do not know what would be waiting for me at the end of this roughness. So i do what i do best, keep on thriving and believing that something good would birth out from it. "Oh it's easier said than done". Of course it's easy to say, "Must continue to THRIVE & BELIEVE!". But in reality, look who's knocking on the door, "Mr worry", "Mr stress", "Mr anxiety", "Ms whining", "Mr & Mrs murmuring", "GM doubt", "CEO negative" & "Chairman Fear". Just when you thought these are fruits of the rough sea, *smack* It's "Mastermind Disbelief"! Life is full of toils and snares, don't let it stumble you. My solution is, keep on BELIEVING. Have unwelcomed 'visitors'? Give them a few smack and move on.

At least that's what i did, and the fruits of it all are, "Mr & Mrs Joy", "Ms Relax", "Mdm Peace", "Mr Stronger Conviction", "GM strength", "CEO positive" & "Mastermind Believe". What i'm trying to say is, "yes", "A smooth sea never made a skilled mariner, a rough sea make one", but the opposite is true too.

My rough sea is over for now. I've reaped my good fruits and became a better mariner. And today if you're in rough sea, you have a say on how you want your fruits to be(Good/Bad) and a (skilled/unskilled) mariner.
