• Upon hearing about Manny Pacquiao from a church service mentioned by Pastor Robert, i went to surf for this boxer and came to know of his impressive achievements.

• Pacquiao started his professional boxing career at age 16. When his close friend Mark Penaflorida past away in 1994, it spurred the young pacquiao to pursue a professional boxing career.

• From then on his achievements:
• WBC lightweight world champion
• WBC super featherweight world champion
• IBF bantamweight world champion
• WBC flyweight world champion
• Ring Magazine titles for featherweight, super featherweight, and lightwelter weight divisions.

• The fact that I'm listing all the above is because...AIN'T IT SIMPLY AMAZING!?! A mere Asian, small built in size, starting from an unknown town carrying an unknown future started boxing because of his deceased friend and made it big against the bigger builds of ang mohs.

• It reminds me of Rocky the movie, against the world heavyweight champion Apollo and fought a beautiful world shaking endurance fight. And also young king David against Goliath, or rather Goliath(S) in pacquiao's case. Against all odds is the phrase for him.
